Today marks the 400th consecutive day of creating a sketch for my children. Who knew that a few packs of sticky notes and some markers could have resulted in so much support from people around the world and so many opportunities? Since starting this endeavor to make sure my kids' creativity was encouraged I have received wonderful notes from fans, met a lot of supportive people, have been given a "DaddiLife Hero" award, and have been interviewed on television, radio, and the Internet.
I just want to take some time to thank each and every one of my supporters over the past 400 days. My priority has always been to sketch for my kids and to watch them develop their creativity and individuality. However, I also have the opportunity to see the Lunch Note Sketch community flourish and with it I get to see everyone who I interact with grow as individuals, too. So, from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU for making this journey fun, creative, and happy! Here's to the first 400 days and to the next 400, as well.
